Visia locates all creases, furrows, and deep folds in the skin, which result from the natural loss of skin’s elasticity over time and repetition of facial expressions. They’re made worse by sun exposure and are uniquely identifiable by their narrow, long shape.

Spots are usually red or brown marks on the skin, such as acne scars, melasma, vascular lesions (vessels), freckles, and hyperpigmented areas. Spots usually have a circular shape but vary in size, and they can be identified by their color and contrast to the rest of your skin tone.

Skin smoothness is one of the biggest visual indicators of youthfulness and skin health. Visia lets us identify elevated and depressed areas at the beginning of your journey, and we can use it to regularly assess the success of treatments that help smooth your skin.
